Delete your account & data
You can delete your Bunavi account and everything in it at any time. There are two ways to do it — pick whichever suits you. Both permanently remove your account, every baby profile you own, and all of their records.
1. Delete it yourself, instantly (in the app)
If you have Bunavi installed, this is the fastest route and takes effect immediately:
- Open Bunavi and go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and all of its records are removed straight away.
If you had invited caregivers, the babies you own and their records are removed for everyone — invited caregivers lose access too, because the data lived under your account, not theirs. If someone else needs to keep a record, export it (or ask them to) first.
2. Request deletion by email
You don't need the app to delete your data. Email us from the address on your account and ask us to delete it — we will erase your account and every record it owns within 30 days, usually much sooner, and reply to confirm.
Please send the request from your account's email address so we can verify it's you. If you can't, email us anyway and we'll help confirm your identity another way.
What gets deleted
Everything you tracked — your account, every baby profile you own, and all of their feeds, sleeps, diapers, growth entries, milestones, notes and photos. Residual copies in our encrypted backups expire with the normal backup rotation, within 30 days. Two small technical items are kept separately: a short log of which system emails we've already sent you (so we don't email you twice) and, if you joined the website waitlist, your waitlist entry. Email [email protected] to have either of those removed too.
A note on subscriptions
Deleting your Bunavi account does not automatically cancel a paid Bunavi Plus subscription. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store (Apple ID) or Google Play account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google as the seller.
