What's free in Bunavi?
Free for everyone in the Bunavi 1.7.0 app, checked :
- Breastfeeding with a left/right timer, and bottles of breast milk, formula or mixed
- Solid foods and meals: 63 common first foods or your own, with a "Foods tried" list
- Pumping, and a milk stash that shows which bag to use soonest
- Sleep, with a timer or logged afterwards, and diapers (wet, dirty or mixed)
- Growth on WHO Child Growth Standards charts: weight, height and head circumference
- Milestones, and a health log for temperature, medications, vaccinations and symptoms
- Live sharing for you and up to 3 others per baby, such as a partner, a grandparent and a nanny (since version 1.7.0): every entry shows on everyone's phone in real time when they're online. An unused invite takes a place.
- Next-feed and next-nap estimates, from your baby's own rhythm or a rough guide for their age: the feed estimate once there is about a week of feeding logs, and the nap estimate from 8 weeks old, once there is about a week of sleep logs. They are estimates, not a schedule.
- Trends by day and by week, and the weekly recap
- Home Screen widgets, and a Live Activity on the Lock Screen for running feed and sleep timers (iOS 16.1 or later)
- Reminders, off until you turn them on: a feeding reminder, a diaper check, a pumping reminder, a growth check-in and a nap window alert
- Logging a crying spell yourself
- Export my data: a summary PDF (in English), spreadsheets (CSV) and one complete JSON file with every record on your account
The app's paywall names what's free for everyone, then says:
We will never paywall a feature you already had.
What does Bunavi Plus add?
Bunavi Plus is optional and bought in the app. It adds what the app's paywall lists:
- More babies, and more than 3 others on a baby. For twins or siblings; you switch between babies from the baby's name at the top of the app.
- Monthly trends. The Month and 3 months views in Trends, and the First weeks record: the feeds and changes logged on each day from birth to day 28, for the newborn checkups.
- PDF reports for the doctor, in English. For visits to your pediatrician: a growth report (since the last measurement, the last 3 or 6 months, or since birth) and a sick-visit report.
- Cry insights and calming tips. The phone listens for crying (the audio is never recorded, saved or sent), suggests a likely reason from your recent feeds, naps and diapers, and offers tips to match.
- A keepsake for each month of the first year. A card of that month's milestones, first tastes and newest measurement, to share as an image.
One Plus covers everyone who shares your baby. While anyone on a shared baby has Bunavi Plus, everyone on that baby gets its Plus features, and its owner can invite more than 3 people. Adding more babies of your own still needs your own Plus.

How do the free trial and renewal work?
- Eligible new subscribers get a 7-day free trial of the monthly or yearly plan. The app shows the trial only when the App Store confirms you're eligible.
- A trial turns into a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
- Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically at the plan's price until you cancel; to stop the next renewal, turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Manage or cancel in your App Store account settings. Deleting the app or your Bunavi account doesn't cancel a subscription.
- The lifetime unlock is a one-time purchase with no trial and no renewal. It can be restored on a new device from the same store.
- App Store purchases are sold by Apple, so a refund goes through Apple's refund process.
When Bunavi is not the right choice yet
- Your partner uses an Android phone. The Android version is still in closed testing on Google Play, with no public date yet.
- You want to bring your history from another baby tracker. Importing isn't supported yet.
- You want an Apple Watch app. There is none.
- You need pediatrician PDF reports in your language. They are in English, like the summary PDF and the spreadsheet headings.
- You want a sleep schedule. Bunavi shows a next-nap estimate (from 8 weeks, once there is about a week of sleep logs), not a schedule.
- You want twins or siblings on the free plan. It covers one baby of your own; more babies need Bunavi Plus.
- You want an app with years of reviews. Bunavi launched in August 2026.
Questions parents ask about baby tracker prices
Is there a free baby tracker app with no ads?
Yes: Bunavi is free on iPhone and shows no ads. Logging feeds, sleep, diapers, pumping, solid foods, growth and health is free, and so is sharing each baby live with up to 3 other people. Bunavi Plus is optional; a second baby of your own needs it.
Do both parents have to pay to share a baby tracker?
Not with Bunavi. Sharing a baby is free for you and up to 3 others, such as a partner, a grandparent and a nanny, and an unused invite takes a place. More people need Bunavi Plus, and one Plus covers everyone who shares your baby.
How much does a baby tracker subscription cost?
Bunavi Plus costs $2.99 a month, $22.99 a year or $29.99 once in the United States, and €2.99, €24.99 or €34.99 in the euro area. Elsewhere, the App Store shows your local price before you pay. Bunavi itself is free to download and use.
Can I pay once instead of subscribing?
Yes: Bunavi Plus has a lifetime unlock for $29.99 in the United States or €34.99 in the euro area, paid once, with no trial and no renewal. It can be restored on a new device from the same store.
Can I try the paid features before I pay?
Yes, in Bunavi: eligible new subscribers get a 7-day free trial of the monthly or yearly plan, and the app shows the trial only when the App Store confirms you're eligible. Cancel at least 24 hours before it ends and you won't be charged. The lifetime unlock has no trial.
Can I track twins on a free baby tracker?
Bunavi's free plan covers one baby of your own, so twins or siblings need Bunavi Plus. Each baby's logs, charts and milestones stay separate, and you switch between them from the baby's name at the top of the app. Babies other people share with you don't count toward that one.
Who makes Bunavi
